State visit of the President of Tajikistan to Cannes and Nice, June 2025

VIP Mobile accompanies the delegation from Tajikistan to the UN Ocean Conference in southern France

From 8 to 10 June 2025, VIP Mobile had the privilege of assisting the President of Tajikistan, Emomalij Rahmon, and his delegation during their stay in Cannes and Nice. The reason for the visit was to attend the third United Nations Ocean Conference (UNOC 2025), which took place in Nice from 9 to 13 June and was jointly hosted by France and Costa Rica.

The conference focused on the goal of accelerating global action to protect and sustainably use the oceans. Under the motto ‘Our Ocean, Our Future, Our Responsibility’, heads of state and government, representatives of the United Nations, international organisations, science, business and civil society came together to discuss concrete solutions for implementing Sustainable Development Goal 14 (SDG 14) and to forge new partnerships.

President Rahmon took the opportunity to exchange views with other heads of state and to emphasise Tajikistan’s commitment to protecting global water resources. In addition to the plenary sessions and high-level panels, the agenda included bilateral talks and cultural events in Cannes and Nice.

VIP Mobile was responsible for providing exclusive support to the Tajik delegation. This included individually tailored VIP transport services, a comprehensive security concept and flexible coordination of all transfers between the airport, hotels and event venues in Cannes and Nice. With the utmost discretion, reliability and professionalism, VIP Mobile contributed significantly to the smooth running of the state visit.
