The highest security standards for President Abdelmadjid Tebboune’s state visit
From 12 to 17 July 2026, VIP Mobile supported the official state visit of Algerian President Abdelmadjid Tebboune to Berlin, playing a key role in the high-level transport logistics. During the visit, which lasted several days and included numerous political, economic and diplomatic engagements, our team ensured that all journeys ran smoothly, thanks to an extensive fleet of vehicles and experienced staff.
A total of 30 vehicles from VIP Mobile were deployed. The limousines, escort vehicles and organisational vehicles provided safe transport for the delegation between the airport, hotels and the various event venues in Berlin and Brandenburg. All journeys were carefully coordinated with the relevant security authorities and carried out in accordance with the highest organisational standards.
A particular highlight of the mission was the provision of a new armoured Mercedes-Benz S-Class, which was used as a ceremonial and security vehicle for the President.
The vehicle meets the highest international safety standards and combines state-of-the-art safety technology with maximum comfort – an essential requirement for state visits of this magnitude.
During his visit, President Tebboune was received with military honours by, amongst others, Federal President Frank-Walter Steinmeier, and held talks with Federal Chancellor Friedrich Merz. Discussions focused on strengthening German-Algerian relations and cooperation in the fields of the economy, energy, hydrogen, raw materials and investment.
The political talks were accompanied by a German-Algerian business forum, at which numerous representatives from the political and business sectors of both countries came together and several cooperation agreements were signed.
